Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Must hold a valid State Tested Nursing Assistant (STNA) certification in Ohio.
- Must be proficient in both verbal and non-verbal English communication.
- Background checks include Ohio BCI & fingerprint analysis, FBI (if applicable), Nurse Aide Registry, and HHS/OIG exclusions.
- Dependable transportation is required. CPR certification is preferred.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately record all resident-related activities in line with facility policies.
- Promptly communicate resident-related information, such as any health or condition changes (e.g., weight or skin changes), to the licensed nurse.
- Help residents with ADLs, including feeding, bathing, dressing, mobility, hygiene, and toileting.
- Collect resident labs/vitals as directed by licensed nursing staff.
- Strictly follow all infection control and safety procedures.
- Engage in creating a home-like environment by supporting resident activities and interacting with visitors, guests, and family members.
- Ensure a safe, sanitary, and welcoming environment for residents and adhere to all facility policies, including HIPAA and Residents’ Rights policies.
- Participate in required staff meetings, educational sessions, and other employment-related meetings.
- Follow all compliance policies, including the Resident Assessment Instrument (RAI) and Corporate Integrity Program.
Pay Rate:
$21 - $25 per hours depending on experience
