Blended Learning Course
Learn essential skills such as recognizing cardiac arrest, performing chest compressions, rescue breaths, and using an Automated External Defibrillator (AED).
This class consists of two sessions:
Online Session
- Complete at your convenience.
- Must finish all elements before the skills session.
- Present Online Session Completion Record at the beginning of the skills session.
Skills Session
- Conducted in-person in a classroom setting.
- Focuses on skill practice and demonstration of competency in required skills.
Challenge Course
This hands-on course is designed for experienced learners to obtain their certification in an expedited format. Participants will review the course content in a formal class setting.
Eligibility
- Participants must have a current or recently expired (less than 30 days) American Red Cross First Aid/CPR/AED certificate (or equivalent).
- If your certificate has expired, please call us, and our staff will help you find the best course for your situation.
Certification
- Completing this course earns you a valid American Red Cross CPR/AED certification.
- The certification is active for 2 years.
- This certification demonstrates your skills and readiness to act in emergencies.

Everything you need to know about the CPR/AED Training.
Each course is approximately 4.5 hours in total. The online portion typically takes 2.5 hours to complete, and the in-person portion takes around 2 hours.
Yes, we are a staffing agency that hires CNAs, STNAs, LPNs, RNs, housekeepers, dietary aides, and cooks. We are always accepting new applications!
Our staff primarily serve nursing homes, assisted living facilities, memory care facilities and hospitals.
Anyone can sign up to learn CPR! For the challenge course, students must show proof of a valid (not expired) CPR certification.
If you do not pass the course the first time around, you are welcome to retake the course. However, our instructors do their best to ensure that each student meets the American Red Cross guidelines and is prepared to give high-quality CPR upon completion of the course.

The classes we teach here at Veracity are hybrid in nature, meaning that half of the course is completed online, and the other half is completed in-person.
Here at Veracity, we believe it is important for individuals to participate in an in-person skills session in addition to online training. The in-person session allows for all students to have adequate practice on a manikin so they feel prepared to give CPR in a real-life situation. Practicing in-person gives students the ability to apply what they’ve learned from the online content.
Your certificate will be sent to your email within seven days of completion of the course. In most cases, the certificate is sent same-day.
A CPR certification is valid for 2 years
If you are participating in a blended learning course, the only thing you need to bring with you for the in-person class is proof that you have completed the online portion. All course materials will be provided by the instructor.
We teach Adult First Aid/CPR/AED. Students will learn how to give compressions and rescue breaths that meet the standards of The American Red Cross, proper usage of an AED, how to assist an individual who is choking, and how to give basic first aid to an individual who is bleeding.
You can make a cash payment by coming into our office a few days before your class, or you can pay via credit/debit card by calling our office at 937-886-4700. Cash payments are $60. Card payments are $64. Payments must be received prior to your in-person skills session.
