Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.Â
- Current certification as a Nursing Assistant (CNA) in the state of employment; Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.Â
- Prior experience in a healthcare setting is preferred but not required; new graduates are encouraged to apply.Â
- Proficient in basic patient care activities, including bathing, feeding, and toileting.Â
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.Â
- Ability to follow instructions and work under the supervision of RNs and LPNs.Â
- Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems is a plus.Â
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, assist patients with mobility, and stand for extended periods.Â
Responsibilities:
- Assist patients with daily activities, including bathing, dressing, eating, and grooming.Â
- Monitor and record patients’ vital signs, such as temperature, blood pressure, and pulse.Â
- Assist with patient mobility, including helping patients walk, move in bed, or transfer to and from wheelchairs.Â
- Help maintain a clean and safe environment by following infection control procedures.Â
- Provide emotional support and companionship to patients.Â
- Report any changes in a patient’s condition to the supervising nurse.Â
- Ensure that patient rooms and common areas are clean and organized.Â
- Assist with the transportation of patients within the facility, such as to and from diagnostic tests.Â
Pay Rate:
$15 - $22 per hour, depending on experience and location.
