Job Description:

The Janitor is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and orderliness of the facilities. This role involves performing routine cleaning tasks to ensure a sanitary environment for employees and visitors. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail and take pride in their work.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent. 
  • Previous experience in janitorial or cleaning roles preferred. 
  • Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting and moving objects. 
  • Knowledge of cleaning supplies and equipment. 
  • Good communication skills and attention to detail. 
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively. 
  • Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings or weekends if needed. 

Responsibilities:

  • Clean and sanitize floors, walls, windows, and surfaces. 
  • Empty trash cans and dispose of waste properly. 
  • Replenish supplies such as paper towels, toilet paper, and soap. 
  • Maintain cleaning equipment and report any malfunctions. 
  • Follow health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment. 
  • Perform deep cleaning tasks such as carpet shampooing and floor waxing as needed. 
  • Report any maintenance issues or damage to the facility. 
  • Ensure that cleaning tasks are completed according to the schedule and standards. 

Pay Rate:

$15 - $20 per hour, depending on experience and location.
