We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Medical Director to provide clinical oversight and leadership at one of our long-term care clients. This part-time contract position is ideal for a licensed MD who is passionate about advancing their medical director career, improving the quality of care for residents, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams. The Medical Director will play a pivotal role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality, patient-centered care while maintaining compliance with regulatory standards.

Requirements:
Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree from an accredited institution.
Current and unrestricted medical license in the state of Ohio.
Board certification in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, or Geriatrics preferred.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in a long-term care or similar healthcare setting.
Strong knowledge of long-term care regulations and best practices in geriatric medicine.
Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
Commitment to ethical standards and patient-centered care.
Responsibilities:
Provide medical oversight and guidance to the facility’s clinical and administrative teams.
Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to develop, implement, and evaluate care plans for residents.
Conduct regular reviews of residents’ medical conditions and treatment plans to ensure optimal care outcomes.
Serve as a liaison between the facility, residents, families, and external healthcare providers.
Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations, including infection control and quality assurance programs.
Lead and participate in quality improvement initiatives, including risk management and performance reviews.
Provide training, support, and mentorship to clinical staff on medical best practices and protocols.
Serve as the facility’s representative for medical inquiries during audits, inspections, and reviews.
Stay updated on advancements in geriatric and long-term care medicine to enhance resident care.
Review and approve facility policies and procedures related to clinical care.
Contract Details:
Part-time role requiring 5–10 hours per week.
